Pianist Dzmitry Ulasiuk

“Mr. Ulasiuk is an artist of depth and mastery, with unwavering conceptions which capture his listener. The final dance, Romeo and Juliet before Parting (from Prokofiev’s Op. 75), conveyed more heartbreak than Shakespeare’s own words could. In summary, it was a brilliant recital by an artist whom one will certainly want to follow.” –Dr. Rorianne Schrade, New York Concert Review, about Dzmitry Ulasiuk’s debut recital at Carnegie Hall on September 17, 2018.

He has won or placed in 15 international piano competitions, winning the latest which had nearly 2,000 contestants from 88 different countries: the 2018 Kaleidoscope International Music Competition in Los Angeles, California.

Dzmitry holds four piano performance degrees from the Belarus State Academy of Music. To entice him to come to the United States, he received a full scholarship to Texas Christian University. He was named a Legacy Artist of the Joaquín Achúcarro Foundation while at Southern Methodist University. Dzmitry is currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas.
