2018 STEINWAY & SONS PIANO COMPETITION

Steinway & Sons is proud to announce a new competition for young pianists ages 18 and under. The competition, which will be held at Steinway Piano Galleries, is an extension of our unwavering commitment to the pursuit of superior artistic expression through piano performance.

This event is only for pre-registered students who will compete in three divisions before a panel of 3 judges.

2018 STEINWAY & SONS PIANO COMPETITION WINNERS CONCERT

The nine winners from the three divisions of the Steinway Piano Competition will perform a Winners Concert where they will receive their recognition.  The event is open to the public and will provide an afternoon of inspired performance.

Suzuki Regional Evaluations - For Teachers and Students (Fri-Sun, Oct 19-21)

Suzuki Regional Evaluations will be held in Alpharetta at Steinway Piano Galleries in the Barbara Kirby Recital Hall.

Friday, October 19 between 10am and 7pm

Saturday, October 20 between 9am and 7pm

Sunday, October 21 between 9am and 3pm

Regular Events:

STUDENT RECITALS: Teachers hold recitals on average twice a year. The Alpharetta location has a beautiful 90+-seat recital/concert hall. 

PIANO FESTIVALS: Many of our teachers participate in annual festivals sponsored by the MTNA and the National Federation of Music Clubs.

GUILD AUDITIONS AND EXAMINATIONS:  Many teachers provide students with opportunities for independent assessment of their skills including Guild Auditions and Associated Board exams.
