Pianist William Ogmundson - In Concert!


Steinway Piano Galleries is proud to host pianist William Ogmundson in the Barbara Kirby Recital Hall in Alpharetta, GA. 

Mr. Ogmundson is a pianist who has released six CDs and performed all over the world, including the Vatican and Notre Dame Cathedral. He is also an EMMY-nominated composer and has published numerous pieces for the theater and television in addition to instrumental and choral works. His music for "Kindness and Cruelty" was recently nominated for Best Score in the New York Theatre Festival. He currently resides with his family in New London, NH.  

He will perform a wonderfully varied program of works by American composers including William Billings, Stephen Foster, Louis Gottschalk, Scott Joplin, John Philip Sousa and George Gershwin.

Suzuki Regional Evaluations - For Teachers and Students (Fri-Sun, Oct 19-21)

Suzuki Regional Evaluations will be held in Alpharetta at Steinway Piano Galleries in the Barbara Kirby Recital Hall.

Friday, October 19 between 10am and 7pm

Saturday, October 20 between 9am and 7pm

Sunday, October 21 between 9am and 3pm

Regular Events:

STUDENT RECITALS: Teachers hold recitals on average twice a year. The Alpharetta location has a beautiful 90+-seat recital/concert hall. 

PIANO FESTIVALS: Many of our teachers participate in annual festivals sponsored by the MTNA and the National Federation of Music Clubs.

GUILD AUDITIONS AND EXAMINATIONS:  Many teachers provide students with opportunities for independent assessment of their skills including Guild Auditions and Associated Board exams.
